Ivan Brackenbury likes a mic and a boom mic stand and a DI box. (or another way of playing an iPad from the performance area)
Ian D Montfort prefers a headset (he can provide) but can be flexible.
When Tom works with his puppet family he likes to use a headset and a way to play an iPad from the performance area.
